Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve: Water Quality and Biological Monitoring Programs

Old Woman Creek has been part of the National Estuarine Research Reserve System and has been monitoring the water quality of the creek as it heads into Lake Erie since 1980. In recent years, they have expanded their biological monitoring efforts to learn how this coastal wetland functions chemically and biologically. In this program, Research Coordinator Dr. Kristin Arend will be presenting a holistic view of this unique coastal Lake Erie ecosystem.
